LEADERSHIP: Director SHIRLEY JUELS has been at the helm here for over twenty years. Shirley is also our founder. She has always fostered a belief that there is only one reason for our school to exist. To ensure that Special needs Children have a secure academic haven in which to grow.
INNOVATION: Passageway prides itself on cutting edge-innovation, as demonstrated by our emphasis upon the latest in learning technologies, including DIGITAL CURRICULUM, PROJECT BASED LEARNING, and TRULY INDIVIDUALIZED PROGRAMS.

PASSAGEWAY SCHOOL is a Special needs School Located in Newbury Park, California. Our primary goal is to assist students with low-incidence disabilities such as Autism and Aspergers ACHIEVE. Often these Children have had great difficulty fitting into the mold in other structured environs. We try to accomodate our structure to meet the individual. This is achieved through intense symbiotic interaction between the student, parent, district, and associated stake-holders.
Our Director, Mrs. Shirley Jueles, has spent the last twenty years ensuring that our students have optimal individualized educational and emotional development opportunities. Additionally, Passageway has embraced the advantages which technology provides our students. We boast an extremely student-computer and student-staff ratio to achieve maximum development. Along with a highly qualifed and motivated Staff, led by Mr. John Freel, B.A., M.A., J.D., Passageway prides itself on it's continuing flexibility and innovation.
